Description of the place
The Misericordia, or Church of Mercy, is located on historic Via das Flores in downtown Porto. It was originally built in the 16th century, and its façade was redesigned by Northern Portugal's favorite Baroque architect Nicolau Nasoni. The Misericordia Museum is associated with this The historic church, and houses many works of art and artifacts dating back to the fifteenth century.
