Description of the place
Montedore Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse that was built of granite stone between 1908 and 1910. It has an impregnable structure in the form of a quadrangular tower. Inside, the building features a spiral staircase, Newell columns and copper balustrades. The height of the lighthouse is 28 meters (103 meters above sea level). It includes a large U-shaped outbuilding, a lantern room and a red painted verandah.
