The "Boca della Verita" statue, or as it is known as the "Mouth of Truth", is located in the Church of Santa Maria in the Cosmedin area, and is one of the ancient statues in the city of Rome. It is a round marble piece and is believed to be part of one of the ancient Roman fountains dating back to the first century AD. .
