Mozart's Birthplace

W. A. Mozart was born in 1756 in this magnificent house in the Salzburg region. The city municipality has turned his house into a museum, preserving the original furniture that his family used for more than 26 years before they moved to another house. Mozart lived in this house with his parents, Leopold and Anna Maria, as well as his sister, Nannerl. The famous composer's birthplace is a magnet for Mozart fans and history buffs from all over the world. The tour of the museum takes about an hour, and visitors will find among the exhibits a desk, paintings, sofas, a piano and many more.
