Musee de l'Elysee
museum in Lausanne entirely dedicated to photography, and contains works from the inception of photography to the present time. The museum was opened in 1985, and since its opening it has won dozens of regional and international awards for the magnificence of its exhibits. The museum's collection includes more than 100,000 photographs, the bulk of which are from the nineteenth century. The museum houses the complete collection of works by Adolphe Braun, who worked at the court of Napoleon III.
