Museo Diocesano

The Diocesano Museum is located on the second floor of the historic Episcopal Palace, on Torrijos Street. This museum is considered the guardian of a large collection of art pieces that were brought from churches throughout the diocese, as well as the cathedral, and the episcopal palace, along with sculptures, paintings, different types of furniture, and all pieces that extend from the thirteenth century to the XVIII century. The building is set around a courtyard, from which part of the impressive Baroque staircase is inserted, with a polychrome stucco vault.
