Museo Nazionale delle Arti e Tradizioni Popolari
This museum includes many artistic and popular holdings dating back to the period between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century, in addition to exhibits that document daily life, work, and popular religiosity in the period before the era of industrialization. The main collection for this museum was collected by the ethologist Lamberto Luria (1855-1913), and was shown at the Ethnographic Exhibition in Rome in 1911 AD on the occasion of the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of Italy. The museum also hosts thematic exhibitions on Italian and foreign arts and traditions, as well as contemporary exhibitions by authors with works inspired by distinctive folk traditions.
