Museu Can Mario

Can Mario is a museum of contemporary sculpture located in Palafrugell, opened in 2004, and has around 220 works on exhibition dating from the 1960s to the present day, created by a wide range of artists born or living in Catalonia. Temporary exhibitions are also held every year. The Can Mario Museum was a cork factory, dating back to the early 20th century, that was one of the premises of the Mickle & Finke cork company. Today, it is a place to contemplate art, where you can also find a modern water tower.
