Museum Brandhorst

Museum Brandhorst opened its doors in 2009, but has already become part of Munich's most important art museum. In fact the ultra-modern building has a lot of open and spacious galleries. Its permanent exhibitions include works by Art Nouveau icons such as Damien Hirst, Joseph Beuys, and Andy Warhol, and a portrait of the famous actress Marilyn Monroe. Avoid visiting the museum on Mondays as it is closed.
