Museum Dr. Guislain

It is a museum about the history of psychiatry that was established in 1986, and in the place of a previous building that used to care for patients with mental illnesses, and the reason for its establishment was that there was a great lack of access to knowledge and information related to mental health care in general and psychiatry in particular In particular, the place displays the history of psychiatry and an art collection that shows the first mental asylum established in Belgium. There is a floor in the place that is characterized by containing old psychology equipment, which is still well preserved and useful for learning. This experience of the place is considered a very unusual museum experience.
