Museum for Science and Technologys History in Islam

In 2015, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage in Riyadh issued a license for this distinguished museum, which was established by Imam Muhammad bin Saud University in cooperation with the Institute for the History of Arabic and Islamic Sciences at the University of Frankfurt, Germany. The Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam is located in the city of Riyadh, specifically at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University, and it is the first museum of its kind in the region. This museum includes many valuable holdings such as a group of Muslim inventions dating back to the period between the third and tenth century AH, monitoring and navigation machines, some war machines and many other items related to architecture, engineering, Islamic medicine, optics, chemistry and technical physics.
