Museum of Barbarism
Said to be one of the most disturbing museums on the island of Cyprus, the Museum of the Barbary reminds us that Cyprus was once the epicenter of a brutal civil war, a war that still haunts the memories of its inhabitants. The museum is located in an old house that was inhabited by a local family, and suddenly the raid raided the house, leaving nothing but some traces of it. Today, the house has been converted into a museum, and you will find the house in the condition it was in at about that time, blood on the bathroom walls and everything, and in the various other rooms there are photographs of people who died because of the violence that befell the city.
