Museum of D. Solomos and Other Eminent People of Zakynthos

The Museum of Solomos and Notable Persons of Zakynthos is famous for containing manuscripts and personal belongings of the poets Dionysios Solomos and Andreas Kalvos, two of the important national symbols of Greece. The museum's collection includes a number of artistic handicrafts, paintings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, ancient musical instruments, sculptures and pottery, clothes and weapons belonging to legal persons from the noble families of Zakynthos, folklore pieces, and some artifacts.
