Museum of Dionysios Solomos
The Dionysios Solomos Museum bears the name of the national poet of Greece, who spent the longest chapter of his life in the city of Corfu, so the city dedicated this building to be a cultural edifice that celebrates his legacy and preserves his poetry. Although World War II left a devastating impact on the house in which he created most of his works, it was renovated and the table on which he used to write his poems, some of his manuscripts, his personal belongings, and a number of photographs documenting the important events that he lived through to inform visitors about his career were placed in it. And researchers in the field of literature benefit from his work.
