In the Local History Museum, you can learn about life in the municipality of Ulcinj from the fifth century BC to the Turkish period through exhibits that include archaeological, ethnographic and artistic collections. The museum is located in a church dating back to 1510 that was converted into a mosque by the Turks in 1693. Within the archaeological collection, there is an exhibition of Greek and Roman artifacts, glass, and coins, as well as items that appeared during the rule of the Montenegrin dynasties, and in the exhibition that displays items from the ethnographic collection, there are traditional costumes, jewelry, and local handicrafts that show creative folklore diversity.
