Museum of the World Ocean

The Museum of the World Ocean is one of the most innovative modern cultural institutions in Russia. It is more than just a museum - it is also a cultural center that provides visitors with the opportunity to see, learn from and listen to everything related to the interesting and mysterious world of the seas. The museum tries to connect different shores, cultures and people with you through Permanent exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, innovative ideas and environmental initiatives, and the museum includes many wonderful ships such as; B-413 diesel/electric submarine, scientific research vessel Vityaz, Russian space agency research vessel Kosmonavt Victor Patsaev, medium-sized fishing trawler SRT-129, and icebreaker Krasin. In addition, the main building of the museum includes aquariums with marine creatures from various regions of the World Ocean, in addition to the "Beaches of the World" exhibition.
