Museum Tegernseer Tal

Since its opening in 1999, this museum has been explaining the history and culture of the ancient city of Tegernzi, as this city was one of the most important cities in the independent state of Bavaria. The museum contains 17 rooms, each of which tells a dedicated part of the city's history. There are rooms that tell the ecclesiastical history and other rooms that tell the history of mining in the city and others. There are exhibits in the museum from the centuries between the fourteenth century to the twentieth century.
