Muzey Kazachestva

The Cossack Museum is located in the Slavic Quarter of Krasnodar, and was opened in 2008. The museum contains a collection of exhibits that reflect the origins of the Cossacks in the Kuban, including documents, photographs, books, manuscripts, and old maps of the Krasnodar region and the Kuban region. The museum also has an art gallery that displays church paintings dating back to the early 20th century, as well as paintings by contemporary artists about the Kuban Cossacks.
