Wadi Al-Muqlaq or Nahal Oj Nature Reserve is considered one of the most beautiful and important valleys in the desert of the Jerusalem wilderness. It is located northwest of the Dead Sea. It is named by this name because of the anxiety that everyone who walks through it suffers from the many zigzags in it, in addition to the fear of flooding, in addition to the difficulty it faces. Bedouins draw water from it. The valley starts from the hills of western Jerusalem, specifically from Mount Scopus, and passes through the lands of Arab As-Sawahra, Al-Isawiya and Al-Tur, passing through Khan Al-Ahmar and has several tributaries from the wilderness of Abu Dis and Al-Sawahra. The valley area grows bushes, and several tributaries and valleys gather in it, such as: Umm Al-Sheikh, Al-Houd, Abu Sawana, Al-Dakakin, Abu Hindi, and others.
