National Gandhi Museum
The National Gandhi Museum was established in the year 1960. The purpose of the museum is to glorify Mahatma Gandhi while at the same time introducing the new generation to the amazing works of this person. This is done through photographs, paintings, manuscripts and the worldly possessions of the Mahatma. The museum contains exhibitions showing his life and efforts in the struggle to liberate India. The library in the place contains about 40,000 books, magazines and writings about Gandhi on world peace and his views on religion.
