Description of the place
In 1961 the government ordered the establishment of a museum to display the natural animal and plant wealth in Montenegro, to attract visitors to the region. The museum has been damaged many times since that time, but in 1985 the museum was restored and the collections returned to it, and the exhibits in it became the jewel of the Natural History Museum in Montenegro (Montenegro).
