Nguyen Tuong Family Chapel

The Nguyen Tuong Family Temple was built in 1806 by Nguyen Tuong Van, who served as the head of the royal army during the Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century under Emperor Minh Mang. The emperor granted him land in Cam Phu municipality. in Dien Ban district, which is currently part of the ancient city of Hoi An, and when he died in 1822 the house became a place of worship, and a picture of him - painted in China when Nguyen visited the Qing Dynasty - was preserved in the main altar.
