Nusretiye Mosque
The construction of the Nasrid Mosque was commissioned by Sultan Mahmud II, and it was built on the site of the former Emir of Arabıcilar military barracks. Its architectural plans were completed in 1826, and it was designed by Kirko Balyan of the famous Balyan family who was responsible for many of the buildings. The Ottoman Empire in that period, and this mosque is considered a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, and it takes the form of a square, and its central dome is 33 meters high, and it is made of granite and supported by four round arches. The mosque also contains two minarets, and its facade is surrounded by decorative work in the Empire style.
