The Obelisk statue by Nigerian-American designer Olu Oguibe stands in the heart of Kassel. Titled Monument to Aliens and Refugees, the 1,620-meter-high monument bears an inscription in the four languages most spoken in Kassel: Arabic, German, English and Turkish: "I was a foreigner and you took me"; This great quote which is taken from the Holy Book of the Bible.
