Description of the place
The Oberalich glacier is located in the valley on the south side of the Alps in the canton of Valais. It had a length of 9 km with an average width of just under one kilometer and an area of about 22 square kilometers in 1973. There are many people who go on hiking trails in that area to enjoy the beauty of the scenery in the bosom of nature, so you can go to this area with your friends.
