Description of the place
The Ocean Hole is a saltwater lake in the heart of Eleuthera Island. It is a blue hole thousands of meters deep and has its own rich ecosystem, home to dozens of species of jumping tropical fish. UNESCO has placed this lake among the most important natural protected areas in the world. The lake was formed as a result of the ebb and flow of the Atlantic Ocean.
