The Olyatrium Museum was established, whose name combines the word oleya, which means olive, and atrium, which means courtyard, so that the meaning of its name becomes the olive yard, to reflect the association of olives with the history of Anatolia. The Oleatrium Museum was opened in 2011, to display various pieces related to the olive oil production process, in an area of 3,000 square meters. The museum consists of an external garden, an internal courtyard, an atrium, and 11 exhibition halls, which display olive oil production techniques and stages of their development in historical order. From ancient times to the present day, in addition to the various areas of use of olive oil, the museum also includes a shop selling souvenirs and olive oils.
