Description of the place
The white marble monument of Orpheus is about 5 meters long and 1.8 meters wide. It is located in the central city square and in front of the historic city tower. It is the oldest preserved in situ public monument in Slovenia, and the largest excavated monument from the Romanian province of Upper Pannonia. A symbol of the city of Betoug.
