New Zealand's largest public garden entirely dedicated to indigenous plant life. Admission is free for all visitors, where you will be able to see some of the oldest Wellington trees (one of which is 800 years old) as well as 100 hectares of forest. The park is of International Importance by the New Zealand Parks Trust, so you can enjoy the peaceful beauty of nature away from the city crowds. Where the park is located 5 km from the city center.
