Description of the place
The historic Ottoman Al-Muwaileh Fort, which was built during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, is located on the Red Sea coast and in the Saudi village of the same name. It was a resting station for pilgrims and a gateway to the late Islamic eras, and it is one of the largest ancient castles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
