Palais Royal Dar El Makhzen
Dar Al-Makhzen or the Royal Palace in Fez is the royal palace of the King of Morocco in the city of Fez. It was built in 1864 during the reign of Sultan Muhammad bin Abdallah as an alternative to the old palace built by Sultan Muhammad IV. Today, it is an important tourist and archaeological destination, and the vast lands surrounding it include many patios and gardens filled with plants and statues.
