Description of the place
The history of the Botanical Garden truly expresses the care and love experienced by the people of Frankfurt, as the garden was founded and sponsored by a group of citizens in 1869 and today the garden is widely known. Over 5,000 species of outdoor plants can be viewed in this scenic garden, and there is also a special greenhouse to house tropical plants purchased for the garden.
