Paragaea Old Olive Oil Factory

The old Paragia olive oil factory is a private museum that opened its doors in June 2012. It is located in a recently renovated old olive oil press. It displays the process of making olive oil using traditional tools and machines. Visitors to this museum will discover the history of the first mechanical olive oil factory in Parga and its relationship to culture and life. The Greeks, and will learn about the modern method of olive oil production and the whole journey from the olive groves to the bottle in a short film produced by the museum.
