Parc du Cinquantenaire

This wonderful natural site consists of a wide range of gardens filled with various antiquities and museums. It is dominated by a triumphal arch with three small arches. The park hosts many activities throughout the year such as events and celebrations, fireworks displays, sporting events, concerts, and more. This interesting place was built in the year 1880 AD, on the fiftieth anniversary of Belgium's independence. It has now become one of the most beautiful and lively tourist spots in the city.
