Description of the place
The Gmunden Parish Church is a Catholic church that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The church was mentioned for the first time in documents dating back to the second and thirteenth centuries. It was later redesigned to include a tower with a height of about 51 meters. It has undergone many restorations over the years. It now includes a number of altars, in addition to the main building.
