Name of the place
Parque Eduardo VII
Parque Eduardo VII
It is the largest public park in Lisbon, covering an area of 26 hectares. The park was initially called Freedom Park, but in 1903 when the King of England visited Portugal in order to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries, it became named after him. And the park is located on a fairly high ground, which is why visitors often come here so that they can enjoy the picturesque view of Lisbon. In addition, many cultural and recreational events and activities are held in this park (exhibitions, concerts, etc.).
