Pasaoglu Mansion and Ethnography Museum
Occupying a beautiful stone mansion built for wealthy locals in 1896, this ethnographic museum offers a glimpse into the life of upper-class Ottoman society, before it all came to an end in the early 20th century. The beautiful, high-ceilinged interior contains displays of weapons, costumes, and sand needle embroidery of Ataturk, who visited it in 1924. It is 500 meters northwest (and uphill) from the main square, Cumhuriyet Meydanı, next to the bazaar.
