Paseo de los Tristes

Although Paseo de los Tristes is officially called "Paseo del Padre Manjón", it is known by this name (which means "Way of Sorrows") because the funeral processions used to pass through it on their way to the cemetery. It is a wonderful place surrounded by trees and beautiful nature and offers A wonderful view of the Alhambra Palace, as it was one of the most crowded areas in Granada until the nineteenth century, when many festivals and holidays were held in it.
