Pécs Padlock Wall

The lock wall is located in the city of Beach. There are many theories about the origin of the wall of locks and one of them is that the graduates of a nearby high school placed the locks of their school lockers on the iron fence of Church House No. 4, and according to another story, Andor Imréné of Bekishchapa put the first lock decades ago. Later it became a tradition for lovers to put on locks to emphasize their eternal togetherness; Nowadays, not only lovers' locks are installed, but tourists are also happy to commemorate their visit to Pecs by placing a padlock there.
