Description of the place
Famous Botanical Gardens in Antwerp First opened in the early 1800s, this Antwerp garden has a history of more than 200 years, first as an herb garden at the nearby St. Elisabeth Hospital, and later as a landscape garden of great value. Today, it still includes a group of rare and beautiful herbs, numbering 2,000 species, in addition to exceptional trees and flowers.
