The Ponte de Lima Mother Church belongs to the middle of the fifteenth century, and it was built on the ruins of another temple that existed in the same area and dates back to the Roman period between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. It consists of three main naves, an altar, and two side chapels, and next to it there is a square bell tower with four circular arches.
