Prado Bridge
The Prado Bridge, located in Vila de Prado, passes over the Cavado River, connecting the municipality of Vila Verde and Braga. It was built in the Middle Ages, and it is believed that it was the Roman path that linked Pracara Augusta to Asturica Augusta, and in 1510, after King Dom Manuel I confirmed (King Dom Manuel 1st) Chartered by Villa de Prado, the bridge was destroyed by a massive flood, and was rebuilt in 1616 during the reign of Philip II of Portugal.
