Praslin National Park was established in 1979 and is the second largest national park in the Seychelles. The park covers an area of 324 hectares, and the heights of the lands in it range from 80 meters to 367 meters above sea level. The park gained international fame because it contains the Vallée de Mai forest, which was listed by UNESCO on the World Heritage List because it includes the largest natural gathering of palm trees in the world. The park is also home to the black parrot, which is the national bird of Seychelles. In the park, visitors will be able to engage in various activities and adventures, such as climbing, camping, and going on long and short hiking trails.
