Preseren Square

Not only is Ljubljana the center, it is the spiritual center of the Slovenian nation and the most actual meeting point in the city. It is part of the pedestrian area of the Old Town, where festivals, carnivals, concerts, sports, political and protest events are held. Renovated in 2007. From the square you can walk up or down both sides of the river. You have many cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating in the summer.
