This house has been converted into a museum in memory of German President Friedrich Ebert, who was elected in 1919 to be the first democratic president of the country, and in the years he ruled after the First World War, this president maintained national unity and contributed vitally to the establishment of the Republic real democracy. This house was chosen specifically to be the memorial because it is the house in which he was born in the year 1871, and visitors will find in the museum some of his possessions, such as his office, his sewing machine, his bed, and some of his uniforms.
