Prevlaka Island

Prevlaka Island, also known as the Island of Flowers, is located near the city of Tivat in the Boka Kotorska Bay. It is 300 meters long and 200 meters wide, and is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. The island was the seat of the Diocese of Zeta from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century. What distinguishes the island most is its preserved natural environment, as it includes many cultural and historical structures, the most important of which is the structure that contains mosaics dating back to the ancient period, the ruins of the St. Michael's monastery complex, and the Church of the Holy Trinity.
