This museum displays treasures from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, including the Owen treasure and paintings by Henri Blé. The museum is located in an aristocratic mansion dating back to the eighteenth century. Among the masterpieces on display - the oldest dating back to the 12th century - visitors will find: the Owen treasure, the statue of the Virgin and Christ Child in the cradle, paintings by ancient artists, sculptures and more. The museum also publishes many scholarly and popular works including monographs, guides for visitors, and exploration brochures.
