Description of the place
The Quart Towers are among the most prominent examples of Gothic architecture in the charming city of Valencia. They were built as defensive gates to fortify the city wall of Valencia in the fifteenth century. Napoleon's forces were prevented from advancing in 1808 during the period of independence against the French. Cannonballs left it on the towers to this day.
