Rhodes Toy Museum

This wonderful museum is located among olive groves, surrounded by mountains and pine forests. It was built in the amazing natural environment, and therefore it is powered by solar energy. The museum contains puppets, all of which were made in Greece from the 1930's until the 1990's. Among the toys on display are wind-up toys, battery-powered cars, board games, and the large collection of Greek games displayed in the main exhibition hall. The lower floor consists of the "game room" Coin-operated arcade machines from the 60's to the 90's, including a pinball machine. There is also an area in the museum where you can play with well-known games such as lego, and handcraft games.
