Rietveld Schroder House
house located in Utrecht, considered one of the symbols of modern architecture. It was designed by Dutch architect Greet Rietveld in 1924. It is the only building designed in the De Stelle style, which is characterized by the use of primary colors and abstract shapes. The horizontal plan of the house is almost devoid of any fixed internal wall, and the outside is connected to the inside through large glass windows, and the same colors that Mondrian used in his paintings were used. The horizontal and vertical elements of the building are emphasized. Since 2000, the house has been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
